The Focus Garden: how progress works without streak guilt
The Focus Garden grows from your total focus minutes, so a missed day never resets it. It has 15 levels, the top one reached at 16,800 minutes (280 hours), and the only purchase is an optional set of decorative themes.
Streak counters punish a missed day by resetting to zero. The Focus Garden is built the other way round.
How the garden grows
Every focus session adds its minutes to your garden. The garden has 15 levels, and your level is calculated from your total focus minutes only, from zero up to 16,800 minutes (280 hours) at the top. Nothing else affects it.
What happens when you miss a day
Nothing is taken away. Total minutes never go down, so the level does not drop. The home screen shows the total number of days you have focused, a number that only increases. FocusFlow keeps a consecutive-days count internally, but the home screen leads with the total, not the run.
The Four Seasons pack
The garden's classic theme is free permanently. A one-time purchase, the Four Seasons pack, unlocks four seasonal themes. It is decorative and does not change how focus works or unlock features. There is no subscription.
Why design it this way
For many people, a streak that resets turns one off day into a reason to quit. Counting the total keeps the incentive pointed at coming back.
