The release date and what changed in every FocusFlow version, newest first. Notes are the original release notes published on the App Store. Latest version: 1.8.0.
- 1.8.0 · Latest
This update makes starting easier, and every minute you log truly yours.
- "Start Focus" and "Up next" on Home, and "Do this now" in task details, start the timer with a single tap.
- The timer screen clearly shows Ready, Focusing, or Paused, with a distinct haptic for start, pause, and end.
- "End round" only logs the minutes you actually focused. Under 1 minute isn't counted and doesn't grow a flower.
- When a Lock Screen timer runs out it says "This round is done"; tap it to get back to the timer.
- The first flower is now a real flower shape. Counts like "1 day" and "1 minute" read correctly in every language, and "Me" has a more natural name in several languages.
- 1.7.0
This update makes the very first open easier.
- On first launch, tap "Start with 2 minutes" to begin a focus session right away, with no need to decide what to work on.
- When the 2 minutes are up, your garden blooms its first flower, and you're gently invited to add one small thing for today.
- When Today has no tasks, the empty card is now a way in: start 2 minutes, or add a small thing.
- Me has a new "Report a problem" row, so you can write to us directly.
- 1.6.0
This update smooths out a few rough spots.
- The "Not now — just get started" button on the last onboarding page is easier to tap. After you tap the reminders button, it now shows right away that it is working, so there is no need to tap twice.
- When the price of the Four Seasons Pack can't load, the page now says so and offers Retry, instead of a button that looks tappable but does nothing.
- Focus Together, which anonymously shows how many people are focusing right now, is more reliable on some networks.

- 1.5.3
This update tidies up a few loose ends:
- If you already own the Four Seasons Pack, the first-week half-price entry is gone — the dress-up page now shows an unlocked status card with Restore Purchase and FAQ right there.
- In dark mode, the dress-up page's buttons and accent color now match the rest of the app instead of showing pale purple.
- The Me tab has a new Diagnostic ID. Include it when you report an issue and it helps us find it faster — it's anonymous and carries no content.
- Anonymous crash reports are now on, helping us catch and fix issues faster. Turn off "Anonymous usage analytics" in the Me tab any time to disable it.
- 1.5.2
This update pays off a translation debt:
- A few languages used to fall back to Chinese; they now fall back to English, and the missing strings across all 18 languages have been filled in.
- The dress-up page has been rebuilt: what Garden Seasons looks like once it's on and what it costs, all on one screen. The half-price first week shows the discounted amount directly.
Also: "Invite Friends" and "Enter Invite Code" have been added to the Me tab.
- 1.5.1
This update, FocusFlow did two quiet pieces of homework:
- Full VoiceOver support: from starting a focus session, pausing, feeling stuck, to the little completion celebration — every step can now be read aloud, so you can use FocusFlow smoothly even without seeing the screen.
- A gentler review prompt: FocusFlow won't ask you to rate it the moment you open the app — it only asks once, after you've actually spent real time together.
The app is now FocusFlow: Gentle ADHD Timer, with a small refresh to the store page too.
As always: no nagging, no red badges, no punishment. Got thoughts? We'd love to hear them.
- 1.5.0
In this update, FocusFlow learned two gentle little things:
- Return cue: when you pause or finish a focus session, you can save a next step — an answer to "When you return, which step would you like to start with?" It waits quietly on your home screen. Continue for 2 minutes, pick a different way to start, or let go for now — letting go never costs you anything.
- Start support: when you feel stuck, choose the kind of support that would help you start right now, and make the first step smaller.
As always: no nagging, no red badges, no punishment.
- 1.4.1
FocusFlow now reads more naturally when you’re starting, making a task smaller, focusing at your own pace, finishing up, or choosing optional Anonymous Presence. We clarified its privacy: a random ID is forgotten after 90 seconds. The service retains no IDs, personal information, tasks, or content; for capacity monitoring only, it keeps an hourly aggregate peak with none of those data. Stability improvements.
- 1.4
Home now reads your state better:
- Not focusing yet? See your task, energy level, and a one-tap Start Focus
- Mid-focus? Home becomes a mini progress bar with time left
- The Body Doubling card is honest now — it only shows up when someone's really there with you
Plus some polish and stability fixes.
Nothing was taken away. Nothing ever will be.
- 1.3.1
Stability improvements, plus the Garden Seasons Pack debut: dress your Focus Garden in spring, summer, autumn and winter. Purely cosmetic, one-time purchase — every feature stays free.
- 1.3
1.3 — a gentle evolution:
- Dark mode is here
- Start a 2-minute focus with Back Tap or Control Center
- Pause right from your Lock Screen; the "I'm stuck" door is always near
- Inbox "maybe tomorrow" — thoughts no longer pile into guilt
- Bad Day mode: showing up counts as a win
- Time review: estimated vs actual, seen gently
- Garden grows to 15 levels, plus new seasonal looks (purely cosmetic — everything stays free)
- See "N people focusing with you right now" during a session
- On supported devices, AI breakdown works out of the box — data never leaves your device
