Some things FocusFlow
will never do.
Focusing is hard enough. We won’t turn your pauses, attention, or data into pressure or profit.
We won’t punish a pause
Nothing withers, and progress never resets to zero. Miss a day, a week, or a month. When you return, FocusFlow is still where you left it.
We won’t make money from forgetting
No auto-renewing trial traps, and no essential feature held behind a subscription. FocusFlow is free to use; Garden Seasons is a one-time, optional cosmetic way to show support—not a lock on something you need.
We won’t sell your attention to ads
No ads, no cross-app tracking, and no fingerprinting. FocusFlow uses one anonymous usage-analytics service (PostHog) that you can turn off anytime; it reports event names, device information and a random install ID, never your tasks or notes. An app meant to reduce distraction should not fund itself by creating more of it.
We won’t put your content on our servers
Your tasks, micro-steps, energy check-ins, garden, and quick notes stay on your device by default. If you choose iCloud, sync stays within your own Apple account. If you use AI breakdown, your device connects directly to the provider you chose.
We won’t turn togetherness into surveillance
Anonymous presence count is optional. It sends only a random ID so a counter can tell how many people are focusing right now; the ID exists only briefly in memory and is never retained with personal information or content. For capacity monitoring, the service keeps only hourly aggregate peaks without that information. That is the presence feature's own server-side component; anonymous usage analytics and the share-for-membership program are described in the Privacy Policy.
Clarity matters more than a pretty promise
This page describes our product boundaries. For full details on data handling, optional features, and how to turn them off, read our Privacy Policy. If our practices change, we will update both that policy and this page.
